Basic Function
IDS Systems is actively seeking a Systems Engineer to join its team of highly skilled IT professionals. Our team works with a wide range of clients on challenging projects with new technologies and enterprise-calibre systems. As part of our team, you would work with client IT departments and organization executives to expand their capabilities through projects and initiatives. Our goal is to facilitate improvements to client technology infrastructure to facilitate their business operations. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Configuring Azure Cloud Stack
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365’s Cloud suite including Office, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Azure AD Connect
- Hosting Mobile Device Management Solutions such as InTune
- Windows server and desktop experience
- Microsoft Active Directory administration and troubleshooting experience
- Troubleshooting mobile messaging technologies including Exchange ActiveSync, iOS, Android
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Document implementations and provide guidance to operations
- Provide Tier 2 support to front-line Engineers
- Provide advice to colleagues on various Office 365 and Azure applications and tools
- Write and maintain custom PowerShell scripts to help with migrations and user support
Knowledge, Skills, & Certifications
- Expertise in Office 365 (Identity, Authentication, Administration, Implementation, Exchange, Teams)
- SharePoint knowledge and configuration
- Knowledge of Teams
- A valid Security Clearance
- English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server and core elements: Active Directory, Federation Services, DNS, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Configurations Outlook client configuration, PowerShell, SMTP, SSL/TLS
