Get the most from a Steelhead deployment! The Riverbed Steelhead Healthcheck Service is an
IDS Enterprise Consulting professional service. It consists of a proactive performance review of
the Riverbed Steelhead infrastructure. The Healthcheck Service leverages Riverbed Best
Practices to evaluate the effectiveness of the Steelhead deployment and make
recommendations aligned with WAN optimization requirements.
This service can be executed on a "one time only" basis or as part of a monthly holistic
Healthcheck program that features performance trending, predictive analysis and relevant
reporting. The Riverbed Healthcheck Service is the first step in maintaining a Riverbed
Steelhead post-deployment solution. Our customers benefit from the proactive nature of the
Steelhead Healthcheck Service and gain new insight into their Riverbed Wide-area Data
Services infrastructure.

Scope
- The basic Steelhead Healthcheck Service package provides an on-site environmental
analysis, a Steelhead diagnostic review and a Healthcheck report for up to ten Steelheads.
- The Healthcheck Service does not replace Riverbed Training services or other professional
service offerings. Riverbed training courses have predefined and broadly-scoped agendas.
The Healthcheck Service is tailored to maximize specific Riverbed solution features and to
ensure that all currently deployed systems are operating effectively.
- Remediation of issues identified during the Healthcheck Service can be addressed under
the scope of an alternate service engagement with IDS, Riverbed Professional Services, or the reseller.
